We all deserve to die and go to hell for all eternity for the way we have rebelled against God. Start from that point and the fact that anyone is breathing at the moment is a sign of incredible mercy and love from God, work it up from there.

That is one of the most shocking, disturbing things I’ve ever read. I’m very sorry for whatever events have lead you to believe something so horrible. I don’t mean that in a condescending way, really I don’t. I hope you do a little investigating and look into your worldview some more and find out just how far your perception’s been twisted. I wish you the best, but I can’t keep entertaining such nonsense if that’s how you really see the world.

Think about the idea that you’ve been completely conned into believing such nonsense. Has it ever crossed your mind that you could be wrong? I have to ask: Outside of what you’ve read in the Bible, do you have any reason at all to believe the Bible is true? I’ve read a lot of it, and I find it utterly laughable.

I have examinded my faith as critically as I can, I ahve found no holes. Historically, analyse the 1st centuary, the New Tetsament stands up.

Well if you’ve seriously and honestly examined your faith as critically as you can then I can’t fault you for that. I did the same thing, beginning 5 years ago, and ended up as an atheist. Often times people can make the same effort yet come to different conclusions. I have reached a point where I’m done debating theists; it’s time for me to move on. I know where I stand and there’s no use spending my time debating people with opposing views.All the best to you!

….. *facepalm* Regarding OT laws, there are various categories, some of them are ceremonial and were pointing to Jesus and are therefore relevant today only in helping us to understand him, others were not ceremonial and are just as valid today as ever, these are generally all affirmed in the NT. However, even when a law from the OT is still valid, the punishments for failign to keep them are not to be practised because those were for the theocratic Israel.
